Entry Level Modeling and Simulation Engineer (Full Time)
KBM is seeking to fill a full time position supporting a high fidelity digital simulation of a defense system. Successful applicants will be highly motivated self-starters, and possess strong problem solving skills. Applicants should be able to work effectively as a part of a team and independently. The selected candidate will function as part of a development and analysis team. The selected candidate will be responsible for mathematical model and simulation development, analysis to support simulation verification and validation efforts, pre-test analysis, and analysis tool development. Infrequent travel may be required.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or applicable engineering discipline is required.
Required:
The position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Desired Technical Skills:
Ability to methodically solve complicated problems
Competency in C/C++ and/or FORTRAN
Competency in Matlab and/or PYTHON
Competency with Windows and/or Linux
Working knowledge of continuous and discrete time signals
Working knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
Working knowledge of Electro Magnetic (EM) fields
Working knowledge of probability, statistics, and random variables
