For nearly forty years, KBM has served as a trusted partner to the DoD, state and local governments, and commercial sectors. As a woman-owned and employee-owned small business, we provide specialized engineering, IT, and strategic business services across the United States from our hubs in Alabama and Tennessee. Our longevity is rooted in a culture of integrity and a commitment to evolving alongside our clients. Our Heritage: KBM’s journey began in Huntsville, Alabama, providing R&D support for the System Simulation and Development Directorate. Our foundational leadership brought with them the technical rigor of programs like Skylab, Spacelab, Sparrow and the HAWK missile system. By applying the precision required for space exploration to local contract support, KBM quickly built a reputation for delivering quality solutions that exceeded expectations.

Our Evolution: KBM's technical foundation paved the way for our late-1980s expansion into the global electronics manufacturing sector, where we partnered with premier technology firms.  As KBM evolved, our engineering proficiency proved vital to the success of major defense initiatives like Patriot, Terminal High-Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and Short-Range Air Defense (SHORAD). By the 1990s, we diversified further by establishing a dedicated IT services division, now a fundamental pillar of our operations, delivering specialized solutions across the healthcare, retail, and government landscapes.

Our Future: Today, KBM continues to support Patriot, THAAD, and Indirect Fires Protection Capability (IFPC) and grow alongside our clients in the areas of Modeling & Simulation (M&S), Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) as well Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testing.
